Work is Moving

howeirdA week from Friday, we're leaving our choice location across the street from Shoreline Amphitheater to a crappy industrial park across Mathilda Ave from Lockheed in Sunnyvale. I went to check out the new place his afternoon and am far from pleased. The carpeting is old and dirty beige. The cubicles only have half-height walls, and are about 30% smaller than the ones we are in now. They are newer, though. The place is a lot brighter - windows all around. But we only have half of a single floor (downstairs) which means there will be at least two, maybe three more companies sharing this building, which was designed for a single firm.
There's a basketball hoop in the back parking lot. Big whoop.
It's about the same distance from my apartment as the Shoreline place. Basically parallel east-west, and as far south of my place as the other one is north. I have about 8 ways I can get there, including 237, 101, Moffet Park Blvd. and Central Expy to Mathilda. There don't appear to be any good places to eat within walking distance, but light rail is half a block away, so... I could also commute via light rail, come to think of it.
