When's Day

Work was quiet except for one more ops FAIL. Boss' boss asked for a quiet, small going-away lunch, so instead of setting up the break room, which is the only room which can comfortably hold all the invitees (about 40 people), they held it in a conference room designed for 15. The "lunch" provided was salads, bread and avocado egg rolls. They did get a lovely dessert selection, chocolate fudge cheesecake, strawberry topped cheesecake and yellow cake with strawberries and whipped cream icing.
I waited until the crowd thinned and eavesdropped halfway down the table from boss' boss, listening to all the women, who were at that end of the table. When the conversation died down I shook his hand, congratulated him on his new job, and wandered back to my desk.
After work I went to the batcave Starbucks, because I needed the restroom. And stayed for a mocha and read on the Nexus from the Kindle app because all three baristas were gorgeous, there was a sexy redhead at the counter and another one at the table next to the only one with a free seat. Much eye candy in the hour I was there.
Short stop at Lucky's for tartar sauce and its distant cousin kosher dills, then a stop for gas (lowest price in the area a usurious $4.10), then home.
Watched two episodes of Elementary (1 to go). Dinner was fish sticks with tartar sauce and a pickle.
Plans for tomorrow:
Work
1-on-1 (postponed from today)
YOTB rehearsal (the baritone horn and music stand are in the trunk)
