howeirdWoke up at 8:30. Weirdly late, considering I got up at 7 to check the plumbing.
Work was not very productive, but I did help a couple of the team who are working on the next product.
Got email from the salmon charter saying the salmon were gone, they were changing the trip to rockfish, at a lower price. I called and said no thanks. So I guess I'll go to the county fair this weekend after all. Sunday, probably because Saturday the library is having an Atari program with a couple of the original developers.
Stopped for gas on the way home, decided not to visit the nearby Starbucks because it's usually packed at that hour.
Dinner was pre-cooked bacon on a pair of sourdough muffins, and cole slaw. Cherry chocolate chunk ice cream for dessert. Domino loved the bacon, kept clawing at my leg for more. And I was wearing cut-offs.
Unable to get through to UPS to find out why no refund check yet. Their phone and email systems both require a tracking number to get through to a person who knows anything, and in my case that would only confuse things. The woman who called to tell me the check was being sent is on an extension of the caller ID phone number, and she never gave me that ext#. Finally at home I found email address for their fraud department.
Firefox updated to 3.0, and immediately became unable to connect to the Internet. All my other apps were fine with being online. Turned out Norton needed to be updated to match.
Packed up the Seahawks championship football & DVD and it will ship to middle sister tomorrow.
