Gag me. Once again a jive-shucking no-account gets elected by his peers. This is the guy who let his city run amuck, to the extent where police were looting. Not to mention his total ineptitude in evacuating the city.

Aww come on. All the cats in Washington were much worse. No one stood up for Buloxi like he stood up for his city after the fact. Faced with disasters most everyone folds in some way or other. Did you want them to run the city like the military down there? Military running New Orleans. Can't think of a faster way to corrupt the military.
