Sunday already?
May. 21st, 2006 10:38 amWas up till 2 am setting up the alarms and presets on the new radio and playing with the data watch as it downloaded stuff from MSN. Kind of lost track of the fact that a couple of hours passed online when the pager went off.
This morning they beeped me at 7:20 to finish the job, which I did in about 20 minutes. I was already up and logged in thanks to having a minor low Hgl wake-up an hour earlier. 67 isn't too bad, a small scoop of light mint chocolate chip ice cream brought it up to a comfortable 127. Half a scoop next time...
Did some eBay stuff, then saw that my to-do list included a slight facelift on my home page, to move my Thailand travelogue off the top of the page and next to the photo gallery. When I looked at the bottom of the page I noticed that my current web hosting site does not support the simple one-line echo command for displaying the last modified date for a page, so I went through my pages and changed the ones that mattered to the javascript version.
The echo technique:
<font face="comic sans ms" size=+1 color=brown> This page was last updated on:<!--#echo var="LAST_MODIFIED" --></font>
The javascript hack:
<SCRIPT language="JavaScript">
<!--//
var theDate = "";
theDate = document.lastModified;
document.write("<font color=orange size=+1>This page last updated: ");
document.write(theDate);
document.write("</font>");
//-->
</SCRIPT>
Thought about going for a bike ride today, but it looks like rain.
