It's tired and I'm getting late

I slept fairly well last night. Spook was in the BnB most of the night, but deserted me at about 6. I switched all the things off at 7:30 because it's Saturday and I can stay in bed till 10. Made it to 9:45. Hgl was 136, about right for 10 am. Tried to eat a Kind bar for breakfast, but 1/4 of the way through there were nut shells.
After checking the computer, I drove to the nails place, but they were full. I waited for 15 minutes finishing the latest eBook, but when three people came in with pedicure appointments, with only two workers, I left. One of them ran out to my car as I was pulling out to ask me to come back in an hour.
Home depot, bought a package of bamboo stakes. I had to break through the long line for the single cash register to get to them, and then dodge a forklift to get to the end of the line. Home, tried a couple, but they were too thin and couldn't support the BFs.
Nails place again, this time they were empty. Got my manicure. Grocery Outlet, picked up some dark chocolate, vitamin C and peeled garlic. This morning I tried to take one of the 1000mg Esther C pills, and it was just too big. Coated didn't help.
Next trip was to Yamagami's, they had wooden stakes and bamboo poles. Most of the bamboo had a cracked section or two, none of them were sharpened to a point, and I don't have a machete to do that. So I bought 6 5-foot tall wooden stakes. Very long line to check out so I walked around and enjoyed the plants before lining up. Very efficient cashier system, three registers, very friendly and efficient staff.
Home, got my mini sledge hammer and pounded in the stakes, but there were so many bees I decided to wait till later to tie them up. 4:30, just enough time to get to Baylands Park and drop off my season pass form. Or so I thought.
Quite a traffic jam. The workers' ginormous truck loaded with cabinets and granite countertops was parked on the street in front of #6, the new owners' van and coupe were in the carport, and a moving van was blocking the road, trying to deliver All The Things™ to #6. I had to drive around the block to get out.
The booth at the park had closed early, so I'll have to drop off the form some other time. But since I was there and it was 80°+ I parked, and took my camp chair out to the meadow, and sat in the shade. Saw a peregrine fly around the park a couple of times, and swoop over the protected area looking for lunch. Didn't come close enough for a cell phone picture.
After about an hour I packed up and went home.
Cleaned the hummingbird feeders and refilled them. Got a lot of red food coloring on my hand. Made a good April Fools post.
Emptied the dishwasher and put all the things away. Cleaned the cat's water fountain and refilled it.
My manicure person reminded me that Huawei makes a nice cell phone, I'd been meaning to look them up. She didn't like that they are from China, but I reminded her that so are iPhones. So I looked them up, found a good deal on eBay and bought it. About $150 less than replacing my Samsung with similar specs. Unlocked so I can pop in my AT&T GoPhone sim.
Online, filled in the form in Barclay to let them know my Finland travel dates. Included Estonia & Sweden just in case. BofA refused to accept their form more than 60 days out from the trip. I'm okay with that.
Speaking of the trip, last night I checked, and I do not have any paper euros. I have a small ziplock of coins, maybe €2-3. But I have lots and lots of Thai paper bills, from two trips and also from when I lived there. There is a big wad of them rolled up and tied with a rubber band, I should straighten those out and sort them. I saw at least three 1,000 baht bills. Lots of 500's too.
A large number of UK coins too.
At dusk I went out and tied the BFs to the wooden stakes, and pulled out the bendy stakes, for now. Bees had gone home.
One of my FB friends had posted a prank that she was leaving theater to become an animal trainer. Yesterday while I was testing Google Movies, I let The Revenant run through its closing credits to make sure it ended gracefully, and one credit caught my eye: Additional Wolf Trainer - Sally Jo Sousa. I looked her up at work, and was impressed. So I found her on FB and pointed my theater friend to her page.
The extent of my April 1 pranks was creating fake quotes. I had Lincoln saying something by Pulitzer, Mark Twain got a Plato quote, and the Dalai Lama had a line from a Jimmy Buffet song.
And there was this marketing FAIL:
Dinner was beef pot pie, longans for dessert, while watching Iron Fist in HDR on Netflix.
Flipped my calendars. The Seagals one is another pair of not quite calendar quality shots of not quite calendar quality models. My calendar this month is a close-up of a bee on a BF flower.
