Two Things
Oct. 26th, 2011 02:26 pmThing The First: From my window seat cross country both directions the whole country is hazy. My seats were all forward of the engines, so exhaust was not a contributing factor. At ground level things were clear, so it was not smudged/dirty windows. There were vast stretches over the midwest and Utah and its neighbors where there were no clouds but the view was still hazy.

susandennis and friends, I found a 15-month 0% cash back Discover card, applied for it online and was approved by the robot. It probably still has to be passed on by a human (or a more intelligent robot - same thing), but they already had me in the system as pre-approved at the former address. It will be interesting to see what credit limit they give me.
