Gotta get to bed soon.

Breakfast: chicken patty on a waffle
Lunch: chicken white meat slab in gravy with string beans
Dinner: Sister's leftover steak from Sunday dinner

Watched Married At First Sight and its lame "unfiltered" segment. Bottom line: none of these couples are a match, not even close, and the counselors need to stop trying to force them together. Ryan, a married person doesn't install a dating app. Period. Johnny: stop lying to yourself and us.

Outdoor Nevada did a lot more walking than most of us would want to do.

Watched half of the Green Bay/Arizona game. Will watch the rest tomorrow

PTI without Mike isn't PTI. And it's time to get Tony back in the studio.

Took off at 9 pm for Luxor, got there in 15 minutes but it took another 10 to find the parking lot. And a long walk and steep escalator to the theater.

10:30 show almost started on time. Sold-out house but a lot of latecomers.

The women are as beautiful as I remember from my previous visits, the aerialist took my breath away. The hostess I saw last time (August 2019) was replaced by an older model who is not as good a singer (if you can't sing good, sing loud) and kept sneaking in Spanish comments under her breath, a kind of cheap way to let us know she's Hispanic, because she's a peroxide blonde. I came close to leaving a couple of times because the audio sucked so bad. There was some resonating hum from the subwoofers which was excruciating, and all the audio was cranked too high for such a small house. They made good use of the lighting and fog machines. I'll have to try other shows, won't be going back to this one.

Plans for later today:
Sleep in, if Jade will let me
Finish watching the football game
Another episode of The Equalizer on Prime Video
Read - I've started a book by this year's Nobel Prize winner. His writing style is quite dense, like Ray Bradbury only less poetic and more realistic.

It was shaping up to be a boring day, watched the rest of the football game which ended at the final seconds with a GB interception in the end zone and Arizona's first loss.

USPS said my 2022 United Health Care card was coming today, so afternoon I got the mail and continued to groc shopping. Picked up way too many halloween sized Twix bars. I had never had one. I thought I had, but was confusing them with Kit Kats. Not at all the same.

In the mailbox was a huge Humana 2022 tome, which got recycled, as well as the United card & quick start. There were also two letters from Intermountain with specialist referrals. They ignored my current doctors, so those are useless. On my way back the halloween party was well under way. Photos on FB showed it was probably a spreader, but lots of costumes. Not too sorry I missed it.

Logged into United, set up my initial info. Looks like I will need all new specialists in 2022. I've already chosen a new PCP doctor.

Jade still makes a lot of noise, but she also comes to the front of the gate a lot. Runs away when Spook or I show up, though. Nov. 9 seems a long way off for Jade's vet appointment.

Manufacturing a bandage for the stitches is a major operation in the morning, but now aI have a routine which works.

Tried watching Jeopardy  because friends said good things about the new MC, but I did not like her and the pacing of the show is too fast for my taste.

Watched another episode of The Equalizer on Prime Video. And then a movie called Alienated which featured a petite, adorable and super-hot alien artist as the romantic lead played by
Gracie Lacey. Except for her, there was no actual acting.

In aquarium news, all the new fish seem to still be there, though I may only have seen 2 of the 3 baby angels.

Looked at my past LJs and see that I've been to Luxor Fantasy twice before, and was right about the new MC being demoted and replaced by the older, coarser one. The other show I went to was at the Flamingo.

No plans for tomorrow.
