Nothing planned for today except my weekly Ozempic injection. Got that done about noon. Lunch was breakfast (or vice versa) Chicken stir fry with rice. Pretty good. The next Mom's Meals delivery will probably be before this one is done because Sunday dinner out resulted in 3 leftovers meals. And the last two evenings I've noshed on California rolls instead of a prepared Mom's meal.
Tivo was sparse. A 90 Day teaser which focused on Kenny being childish as Armando talked to the wedding planners. Kenny wants a sunset ceremony. Makes no sense to me - sunsets symbolize endings. It's the only thing he is asking for, but he didn't do the math. Meanwhile a huge chunk was given to the Seattle redhead who should have stayed home until her guy's house was livable. He was getting it finished when the hurricane wiped out the island. No electricity, no cell signal, but they appear to have running water.
Read all the news, spent more time than usual on Twitter. Looked at Twitch but no one on there is storm chasing. None of the Vegas locals are on anymore.
Did not go anywhere today.
Could not find anywhere to donate the halloween candy, so some Twix and Butterfingers are being thrown away, per dental assn. recommendations.
Ran the dishwasher. Did a load of undies.
Watched pieces of college football games.
Aquarium has settled down, spotted 2 of the 3 baby angels. All 4 new pearl gouramis, and the new male betta.
Spook and Jade have met at the gate a couple of times, but Jade runs away. She is still making sad noises a lot. And I suspect she has some health issues which the rescue foster did not disclose. Maybe arthritis in her hindquarters.
Halloween is also Nevada Day, actual. It was celebrated today because Sunday.
Finally ordered small dishes for wasabi/soy/tempura sauce. And a cat bed similar to the one Spook likes in the closet, this one for Jade. I'll have to keep an eye on it because she may mistake it for a place to pee.
