Busy busy busy

Physical therapy at 10, learned some exercises and was encouraged to put my legs up on the recliner (PT didn't know there is a lever for that). At the same time the landscapers showed up and did a good job of trimming and shaping the big bush out front and pulling all the weeds. They left the oleander, which is fine with me, it's an actual flowering plant about 5 feet tall, the inspector was wrong labeling it a weed.

 Nurse Deena's visit at 11:30 didn't do much except order a visit from a blood draw service and re-schedule my nephrology televisit 3 weeks later (It should have been the 22nd, now is March 3).

Mobile vet service arrived at 1, after gathering some info from me in the livingroom, we went to Jade's room, She is now up to date on her shots, her talons are trimmed, she tested negative for the usual viruses, and she has gained weight - 8 lbs. Two prescriptions to combat her anxiety, diagnosis is Hyperesthesia, an extreme sensitivity in an area of a cat's skin, almost always on the back, and often in the area right in front of the tail. This condition is often noticed when owners go to pet this area and their cat suddenly reacts.

During the initial attempt to burrito her, she made a run for the (closed) door, and performed a 5+ foot vertical leap. But once wrapped in the towel she mostly calmed down.

The cost was about the same as taking her to my usual vet.

Two women vets performed the honors.

Watched the first 3 episodes of season 2 of Resident Alien. It starts off a little disjointed but levels of in episodes 2-3. They have added new powers for the main character which in turn adds screen time for a couple of the supporting cast. They have also expanded the roles of the sheriff and deputy. And the mayor, including his wife's BDSM fetish.

CNN and MSNBC continue to harp on the same 2 or 3 stories, with no real news to back them up. A pity, CNN used to cover the world.

Nuked the to-do item for Divorce Court. She rarely has married people on, and keeps giving the same advice. Boring & useless.

People's Court has been packing 2 or 3 cases per episode. There are a lot of liars out there.

PTI is not as interesting now that football season is over.

The Bachelor took a major turn for the better as the dork finally sent the bad actress home. And he also did not give a rose to the woman who tried to sabotage the youngest contestant. So now there is relative peace in the house and the attitude is let the dork follow his heart. Because clearly his head is not up to the task. I frankly don't care who he picks, they are all there for the right reason, and it's just a matter of taste.

I spent a lot of time on Costco's site, but items are more expensive by a lot than the same things on Albertson's. And most of my favorites (stuffed cabbage, lamb shanks) aren't available for delivery.

My last banana for breakfast. Lunch was LingLing ramen. One section of BBQ ribs with a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli (which is soooo lame!) for dinner.

Noshed on Cheddar Pringles and Ethel M dark chocolate with month creme filling bars.

Took a nap at 5:30, actually slept about half an hour.
