And then it rained
Mar. 28th, 2022 10:03 pmThe plan was to sleep in, because that fall the other day was working its way around my body. Lump on head hurts when I touch it, right elbow seems sprained, complains when I use that arm, headache, slight fever, had to change the dressing on the cut on my right hand, just below the wrist. Broke out the betadine.
Finally up after 10. No shower, why bother? Why risk it?
Spook came out from under the bed and was in the hallway staring under the spare bedroom door, so I let her in. Next thing I knew she was on the top of the cat tree.
Made a mess of the breakfast avocado, but the banana saved the day.
Listened to Thai radio then KIXI.
The wind was whipping at 30 MPH, pretty steady. Found some wire to attach the flag to the pole.
Watched the rest of the CSPAN talk by Keith O'Brien on his book Fly Girls. He made a YA version which I later bought and had shipped to my sister for her grand kids.
90 Day was the whole 2 hours, most of it was new. Jasmine continues to sabotage her relationship with Gino. Ximena finally kicks out Mike, who has gotten mean. Memphis is married and pregnant, and very lucky Hamza's mom and sister loves her. Mahogany walks out on Ben on his last day. It's pretty clear she's a catfish.
Called T-Mobile around 1:30, they had Pixels in stock so I drove there and bought the plain Pixel 6. As expected most of the rest of the day was copying apps and data from the Samsung. The Pixel only has 2 pages, it seems. Will have to research that. Logged in to all the important apps, sorry to say the change of phone did not help with pairing the Hgl meters. :-(
YouTube was useful figuring out how to set custom ring tones. All my email addresses are handled by Gmail, which is easier to use than the web site's app.
MyRadar app came in handy - it started raining at 8, just as the BASFA meeting started.
I was planning on going to bed early but it's too late for that.
Dinner was a FAIL. Grab and go sushi was very thin fish on a thick chunk of rice. Should have let it warm up to room temp. Blackberries and strawberries were a nice dessert.
Tomorrow:
refill the hummingbird feeder
More phone updatery
