1% of 2019 gone already

Managed to get up and fed and out the door in time to walk to the monthly community center birthday party. There were about 20 people eventually, only two birthdays. One man was 80, and a women brought her about to turn 2-year-old grand daughter. I stayed for about an hour chatting and enjoying the very good little pastries. Even had some coffee.

It was raining when I got up, but the rain held off for my walks to and from the community center.

Home, watched TV, Facebooked, no one on Twitch to follow. Watched the last 5 minutes of the Houston game. Right now I have paused the Seahawks game at halftime - they are trying very hard to  lose.

Lunch was a hodgepodge - lox, bacon, a bagel, muenster cheese. cobbler for dessert.

Dinner was fish stix and mixed veggies, mochi dessert.

Plans for tomorrow:

11:30 Toastmaster's meeting
5 pm chat with Janice
Maybe make a pineapple upside-down cake. Possibly with mixed tropical fruit.
Or I may buy a chocolate cake
