Woken up before 7:30 by a pimp recruiter call which I did not answer. He left voicemail which rang my chimes as well. :-(
Spook jumped onto the bed and curled up in the crook of my leg against the inside of my knee. That was a first. She walked on top of me and over, yelling and trying to lead me to her treats, but I showered and dressed first.
Breakfast as usual.
**checked my spoof email and there was a message from Ghana Girl that she was waiting for the taxi to the airport.
As suggested by someone on Twitch, I ran her photos through an image scan, and surprise surprise the photos turn up on multiple dating sites under multiple names. One site for reporting scammers identifies her as a scanner from Ghana who is using a porn star's photos. However, the porn star in question is much more surgically enhanced than the photos she sent me.
But her syntax in the latest email was seriously Africanized, so whoever it is is not educated in the UK.
I removed all my photos from the skype chat, and blocked her account. I'll keep the spoof email account open just for grins.
In other ho hum news, no news from the Google job, and 5 more pimps with the Roku job. They all think it is exclusive to them. The first pimp who contacted me called claiming there are two openings, so please refer anyone to him I can suggest. I let one newly laid off Terayon friend know the guy's contact info, but I'm not sure if he will follow up. He had been steadily employed for 20 years...
Text from Janice let me know Marus was back, and sure enough the troller magically appeared toward the end of my stream tonight. Four different accounts. Blocked and reported all of them. But now I know who it is, so I can take the next step.
Lots of TV/tivo. Love Island brought a new man onto the set. He is boring. He has a boring face and compared to the other guys, a less attractive than average body. But the producers are forcing him to go on dates with all the women, which is mostly just annoying the women. He washed out on Big Brother, big surprise. Roy Rodgers gets into too many fist fights. He should use his guns more. I have to say they hired superb stunt men for the bad guys.
From time to time I looked in on the main storm chaser, who was driving from Ohio (I think) to his ancestral home in Rapid City, SD. 5 hours or so. Picked up his nieces, had his daughter(s?) with him. No storm. Pretty boring. I didn't leave the house so don't know why I missed the regular streamer. Caught some of metal detector guy but he quit early.
Delivered was a pair of boxes from Walmart. In one was a metric ton of brown packing paper, a pair of boxes of tim tams , and a 4-pack of Sheba meat sticks. In the other smaller box was a long plastic air pillow strip, two boxes of Bausch & Lomb sight savers and the other 4-pack of Sheba meat sticks. They could have fit it all into the larger box and saved on paper & plastic.
Not pleased with the arlo cams - they don't show video of the delivery until the guy is at the door, putting the boxes on the floor.
Amazon subscriptions should start trickling in tomorrow. So should social security $$.
