World Cup in Concord

It was a lovely Sunday morning drive to Concord, where I joined britgeekgrrl and her Other Half dancingshamanand their friend Mike the Formula 1 Fanatic aka sandbagger4 at halftime of the England -Ecuador game. Beckham made  a goal from a penalty kick, which was the winning (and only) goal of the match.Here's the reaction shot:

And very appropriately too. The little boy's game next door ran a little better for the English versus Portugal than the real thing (father's an ex-pat) but the end result was the same.
