Props to Trop

howeirdAs planned, drove to Trop-Aqua tropical fish store up Tropicana Ave a couple of miles. Impressive place. Huge, well laid out, clean, staff checking all the tanks all the time. After a full walk-through I asked the desk folks for help finding a 20 gallon tank & accessories and they had a full kit on sale for $99, which I'd seen on Amazon for much more. They helped me find the right kind of sand, bacteria and conditioner. Very happy with the purchase and the place.
Home, ordered a 4' long table to put the tank on (stands are way too expensive and usually only have room for the tank, with a shelf below for other stuff). That is due Friday. Will fill the tank when it's on the table, and go back for plants and fish next week. Bettas and maybe gouramis.
Stimulus $$ is in my bank account being processed. So is my SS $. Credit cards will be paid off real soon now.
Delivered was the replacement for the exercise bike left pedal. It did not go in smoothly, but it went in all the way and the nut holding it in place needed me to hold the pedal with the wrench. But now the bike is good to ride. I gave it a short test, the pulse rate sensor is off by a lot. It feels good, though. The seat is pretty wide. I may need to take off my cutoffs to ride it.
Goldie has found the kibble on the porch but so have the pigeons.
Took a nap around 4, Spook joined me but soon jumped off the bed and disappeared. Later found her asleep under the bed. She stayed there all evening.
Text from the office saying they may have to shut off the water tomorrow morning. Followed by a text from my cardiologist reminding me of tomorrow morning's appointment.
Desert Radiology called, we made an appointment for noon on the 31st. No food for 4 hours prior.
Angry that the media did their rush to judgment thing again, going all ballistic about anti-Asian hate crimes when the guy was shooting up massage parlors because of the sex aspect, not because they were Asian. Two of the fatalities were not Asian. I'm also seeing terrorist conspiracy theories when it was just one insane guy with a gun.
Tivo pranked me, said Below Deck Med was recorded but what I got was a rerun of the sailing yacht show.
Lots of tornadoes, but not lots of storm chasers on Twitch finding any.
Streamed for an hour but nobody showed up till the last minute.
Went through all the big framed family photos at a cousin's request. He has a great one of my parents and his at a local Hungarian restaurant. I found a photo at the same venue but a different time, and my parents with a couple I don't recognize. Also was reminded I have my mother's high school diploma and all my dad's diplomas. And a photo of my dad with what I assume is a famous physicist. O. G. Haywood.

Cardiology. Find out about the echocardiogram
Do some time on the exercycle
Pay some bills
