Damned stupid Nissan GPS

howeirdNo time for breakfast because the 10 am endo appointment was an hour away. But when I punched in the address, car GPS said there was no such number. So I pointed to a spot on the map, and instead of it taking me SW it took me North, then West, and by that time I was on the other side of the airport and was going to be late, so I just did a U-turn and went home.
The endo office has an inane phone tree, I wasn't able to call in until I got home and tried three different choices. And the next available appointment is not til the end on June. Crap.
While I had the headset on I called the mobile home park and reported my next door neighbor has not been seen in a couple of weeks. They said they would tell the manager I was concerned. I wanted an answer - what's her name, at least - but no.
The rest of the day was a waste.
Except for the LVFD scanner, which reported a hit and run car vs pedestrian (witnesses got the license plate #), a few shortness of breath cases, a man stuck in a wooden chair because of his edema, and a naked baby found in the street, no adults nearby.
Took a lie-down at 4-ish when FL fisher guy went offline. One storm chaser was seeing some clouds, but also went off the air.
RPCV zoom meeting only had the host and one other guy, who left before 7. Two women joined as I was leaving.
Streamed for 90 minutes, no chatters just a couple of lurkers.
Banana plugs arrived, I now have all 5 speakers hooked up and the sound is much better, but I still need to fine tune the receiver. Difficult since I do not have the remote - just the software one. But I did manage to pair the Tivo 4K remote with the receiver volume control.
Made 8 perfect Pepperidge Farms apple turnovers in the new oven. Preheat to 475 then bake at 400 for 22 minutes.
Did not have all the ingredients for tilapia curry, so reheated a pair of lamb chops.
The sickly neon tetra died. Two more to go.
Plans for tomorrow:
Ranch 99 for Asian stuff
