Spooky encounter

howeirdThis morning Spook jumped off the bed and posted herself in front of the gate. Jade must have been in sight, but now was curled up in her tree hutch. I let Spook into Jade's room and watched as Spook sniffed around, keeping one eye on Jade. After a bit Jade noticed her visitor and set up a low rumble. I took out the pheromone spray and gave two doses around the tree, and Spook was out of the room like a shot. I'd forgotten that once upon a time I'd used water spray bottles to keep her off furniture. She remembered.
It was progress, though, no fighting and Jade held her ground.
It was a rough night, the beta blocker is working well, which means more frequent trips to pee.
Called cardiology and left a message for my doctor asking for her to get in touch with my urologist. Not sure when she will see that.
Not much on the internet, or Tivo. Saw Georgia trounced by Alabama. And later Michigan stomped Iowa.
Buyer's remorse Dept: had a 2:30 appointment to have a keypad lock installed on the back door. An hour late, he called and said he could not find a keypad without a physical key. How about he orders one and installs in Monday? OK. 4:30 he says another tech had one, he'll come by in an hour.
Two things: It was $500, and it was manual. I expected motorized at that price. But did not find this out until it was installed and paid for. It was also a pain to program. So I found what I wanted on Amazon for $60, except it has a key as well as a keypad. I can live with that. So when that arrives Monday I'll see if I can install it myself, if not, call another locksmith.
Changed both litterboxes and put the used ones in the bin. Also topped off the water for both cats. Need to top off the kibble too.
Tried to change the light bulb in the laundry room, but can't get the dome off. I think there is a nut which needs to be removed that I do not see. YouTube gave hints.
Coke float with chocolate ice cream for dinner. Lox & Jewish rye for lunch.
