Medical Monday

howeirdAs hoped, a few gaps were filled today. Specialist's scheduler called in the afternoon, she had not gotten two important memos. But she gave me some insight on who to call for another specialist. That call had me on hold for more than half an hour with very annoying upbeat audio loop with a cheery voice interrupting every 60 seconds with "we'll be back with you soon" and every 5 minutes with "there is a large call load due to patients asking about Covid-19, a caring representative will be with you shortly". Total BS, nobody is calling about covid. But when I did finally get a caring rep on the line, she found a cancellation and I have an appointment tomorrow morning with the doctor I left a message online with over the weekend.
Forced myself to get up and dressed with the alarm, because garbage needed to be taken out. Then went back to bed because antihistamine had kicked in.
Apple juice and apple sauce for brunch.
90 Day Tell-all pillow talk was severely edited.
Watched most of MNF until BASFA time. Then the rest on FF later to see the Bills give away the game by attrition to the Pats.
Below Deck has become a major cluster-F. Stew #3 thought she was safe in the laundry room, but when her duties were swapped with #2 it became clear she wasn't even doing the laundry well. Hoping she will be replaced next charter. Deck crew is also falling apart. Capt. is losing his cool.
Cued up The Bachelorette, but it's the men's tell-all and I'm not sure I can take all that misdirected testosterone. Plus we find out that the previous bachelorette chose the wrong guy.
The motorized lock arrived too late to have it installed. Maybe tomorrow.
Mailbox was a major FAIL, a USPS envelope clearly marked DO NOT FOLD was folded in half to jam it in. There was also a package of prescription drugs and a lot of spam.
Did laundry - the sheets needed it. When I finally made the bed, Spook was under it. Usually she wants to help, but not this time. She did station herself in front of the gate a couple of times. I went in twice for petting and food.
Lots of clouds in the afternoon, I thought too dense for a good sunset, but there was about a 10-15-minute window.
