I keep my to-do list in my mind. Sometimes I augment that with a note on Keep or add an event to my calendar. And sometimes it's a visual cue. This morning it was all of the above.
Visual cue: two boxes in the front room on the side table by the aquarium viewing recliner: one from the laundry rack, with a lot of stray plastic, the other from the Amazon delivery of aquarium pump and assorted filter packs. Took those to the livingroom, broke them down, poured random pieces into the recycle holding container. Took both the container and the boxes out back and stuffed them into the almost full bin out back.
Next visual cue was the two trash bags on the washer. Put those one the walker, walked them out to the back landing. Put them on top of the closed recycle bin, which is next to the trash bin. Clipped the catheter bag to my waist band Used the railing to walk down the 4 steps to the carport, and the el cheapo walker to get to the trash bin, open it, and roll the trash bags into the bin, then close it.
Next visual was the car charger (Car was at 80%). Unhooked the charger, walked the cable to the car, used the remote to pop open the charging door, plugged in the car. It won't take long to charge to 100%. Later need to go outside again, unplug the car and return the cable to the charging station.
Calendar reminder to buy Year of the Tiger stamps from USPS. Logged into my account, bought a sheet of those, plus Yogi Berra, Star Wars droids and the latest Love stamp. Passed up Ursula K. Le Guin because it was an expensive express mail stamp, and ditto the Palace of Fine Arts stamps.
Watched another episode of Divorce Court. Once again it's an unmarried couple with an insanely controlling, jealous woman with the man asking to be freed from this toxic relationship. They rarely get married couples anymore. And People's Court was yet another case of girlfriends moving in together, ending up hating each other, and one kicks the other out and sues for back rent.
Looking forward to Graham Norton.
