Junk Food Sunday

howeirdIn honor of the superbowl, I ordered potato chips and dip from Albertson's, but they were out of dip so I ordered some from Von's. Four kinds. They also did not have my favorite - Dean's - but one of the four was palatable, the other three are going down the drain.
Also got a slab of baby back BBQ ribs which were very good. Ate about 4 ribs for lunch, 4 more sets are in ziplock bags in the freezer.
4-berry cup with whipped cream for dessert. Also noshed on sugar free dark chocolate Jello pudding and lime jello (also sugar free). And babybel cheese.
Waited an hour after 3:30 announced start time to play the Tivo recording. Bengals were surprisingly good, and jumped to an early lead. With only a couple of minutes left, LA scored a TD which put them ahead by 3, and they managed to stop Burrow & Co. from making it to field goal territory. A sack on 4th down gave the game to LA.
I expected LA to crush the Bengals, but Stafford made some huge mistakes early on.
The woman who sang the anthem needs some serious singing lessons. She knows one cheap soprano trick - hitting a note 2 ocatives above her natural range - but her voice is reedy and she has no diaphragm support. She was saved by a solid backup chorus. Apparently she is mostly a country gospel singer.
Ordered some Werther's sugar free hard caramels. I'm out. Also ordered an OTC sleep aid. Dr. Emil Nutrition 200 MG 5-HTP Plus Formula for Mood, Stress, and Sleep Support. And a pheromone refill for Jade's room. I spent some time with her, there is something wrong. I thin the arthritis in her hips has gotten worse. She is spending way too much time on the floor, and is crying a lot. Tomorrow I'll text Miki and see if she can help me get Jade to the vet.
Also ordered the kind of lancets they used in the hospital. The ones which come with my blood sugar monitor are not as safe, or as reliable.
Neighbor took the garbage bins out to the curb for me. I had filled them.
I scheduled some Mom's Meals for the 19th. 14 for about $100
Tomorrow:
Physical Therapy - maybe I'll get my folding cane out of the back of the car. I also need some exercises to strengthen my knees
