Furosimide is working, leaving the walker behind, back to eating from the TV tray

Jade keeps waking me up with her crying and yelling. Last night Spook spent a lot of early morning watching Jade TV through the gate. Jade's new favorite place is a couple of feet back from the gate, next to her carrier.

Had an inquiry on a re-home site, but she didn't reply to my answer. :-(

Made a small mistake and had Albertson's deliver today. Should have scheduled for Sunday. The fridge is pretty full, but consuming Mom's Meals makes room.

Also delivered was an octopus power cord. I was able to do away with two kludged power strips in the livingroom, and there is a connection free for the new recliner.

The two huge boxes of the new recliner are still on the porch. I'm going to need help moving the recliners, I think.

Breakfast was Pringles and slightly too-spicy seafood dip. Strawberries for a snack. Lunch was shrimp and cocktail sauce. The shrimp was still frozen, had to be very careful with microwave timing to defrost them. The new microwave's defrost doesn't work.

Dinner was a mom's beef stew and country biscuit. Yum.

Watched a lot of Hot Bench.  Deleted 4 Dr. Pol reruns. PTI was okay.

Way too much Ukraine reporting, way too little NATO help.

Learned online that SF Symphony conductor Michael Tillson Thomas was born Tomaschevsky. Ukrainian parents.

Michael Tilson Thomas's grandparents, Boris and Bessie Thomashevsky, were big stars in the Yiddish theatre. They were also influential in the bigger American theatre world. And they gave the Gershwin's their start.

Yes, I know. They basically founded NYC's Yiddish theater.
