Quick late post

Spent most of 4/28 watching local channels 3, 5, 8 and 13, all of which claimed to be NFL Draft central. I was looking forward to the draftees walking the magenta carpet on the Bellagio lake, with the fountains behind, but that never happened for 2 reasons:
1. At 5 pm all the local coverage was shut down because ESPN owned the rights
2. With 45 MPH gusts, NFL abandoned the Bellagio site and all the action was at the band shell by the High Roller.

#2 turned out to be the most intelligent decision, fans packed in and the crowd estimate was half a million. IRL closer to 100k.

As usual the call to my PCP went unanswered.

Expected Amazon delivery was delivered.

Waffles for breakfast
Berries for lunch
Cheese-its for dinner (Spook made me share)

Read trashy scifi in bed from about 8:30 till midnight. Felt dehydrated so went back to the livingroom, watched the rest of the draft on Tivo, drank 2 glasses of chocolate milk.

Ran out of CO2 in the bubbler, changed cartridges and bubbled up some diet ginger ale and diet cranberry-raspberry plus made sure all three plain soda bottles were charged.

Back to bed, more reading then sleep.
