Is it Dead Yet?
Oct. 10th, 2006 06:46 pmJust killing time waiting for the worst of the traffic to subside before heading out to Valley Faire. There's a concert tonight at Shoreline, so there's also that tfraffic to avoid.
Installed a webcam on the laptop, looks pretty good. Yahoo Messenger likes it, so does MS Messenger.
There'a some serious eye candy here, but the room layout only gives me a view of maybe half the place. The Quizno's next door opened yesterday, which is also bringing in a crowd. Lots of eye candy walking along Shoreline Blvd as well.
Thinking that maybe I'll put Vista RC1 on the laptop. I know it supports the AMD Turion CPU and ATI Radeon display adapter, just have to confirm about the wireless and wired ethernet drivers, which MS has warned may not be ready for prime time. That would be a major show-stopper.
