So much for that
Oct. 24th, 2006 10:44 amThe 10 am phone screen happened at 10:30, living proof that the manager needs more people. Or a time management class. Bottom line - it's a "lots of time on-call" job, so I said forgetaboutit!.
Also got email that the Minerva job is mine, starts tomorrow if I want it. The manager should be calling me soon. The pay rate is pretty good, but it's just for a month.
While waiting for phone screen, got a call on the home phone line from some Indian guy with an almost indecipherable accent who was recruiting for a web apps company in SF for an automation engineer. I told him I'm not a developer and good luck finding someone. I'm also not much interested in testing web apps, but he doesn't need to know that. Yet.
