The apartment manager called, and I'm set for Nov. 25 move-in. Movers have already been reserved, current apartment manager notified & signed off. Saturday I'll go do the lease paperwork & bring a tape measure. Need to see how much space is left in the livingroom after the piano is in. They tell me I'm getting new bathrooms, and I already knew about the granite counter tops going into the kitchen.

Need to get some boxes & start packing up my slides, photos, books.

Thanks. Actually, packing (including boxes) is included in the move. The only reason I am doing any boxing up at all is it will save a little on the hourly rate, and some things need to be in a particular order, while others I want to sort with an eye toward tossing. For instance, the bottom shelf of one bookcase is entirely maps and travel guides, and I know many of them are duplicates. And maybe 1/;3 of my paper files can be nuked.
