The election is over, the Republicans have lost. The price of gas is going up again.

That was my prediction two months ago: Dems take house, *maybe* take Senate, gas goes up.

Actually gas would have gone up any way. Once the election was over, there was no reason to keep the profits out of the stratosphere any more, no matter who won, Reps or Dems. They had done their bit to help the Reps win, but they weren't going to hold down prices any longer than they had to.
They just had more fun doing it with the Dems on top.
Yeah, I'm a pessimist when it comes to the Oil Companies.
Wish 87 had won, just to stick it to them. *sigh*

Yeah, you're right about the prices. But 87 would have been sticking it to us, not them. Higher taxes = higher prices, no matter what the hype said.
