Or would you be a Bradbury. I took the quiz, ended up as Ike Asimov, couldn't get the thing to post correctly (my fault not LJ's) and tried reposting and ended up Ursula K. LeGuinn which didn't excite me as much as Asimov so I gave up.

Bradbury is more of a wordsmith than I can ever hope to be, but he writes much much darker subjects than I would. He never expresses a sense of humor in his work, outside of a wry cynicism. I wish I could come up with the kind of word play he does, but that's about all.

Asimov never impressed me as a writer, and I think Foundation is the most over-rated series in Science Fiction. Original ideas, to be sure, but IMHO poorly expressed. Blame his native language for dulling his writing style. Ursula's the better writer of the two, and I would put the creative genius behind Lathe of Heaven equal to the one which gave us Ike's Nightfall.
