I have no idea if this is for real, and I don't think I want to know. Maybe after I stop laughing I'll check it out. Many of my filk friends are poly, I wonder how that would play out?

Hello, my name is Jodi and I am a casting producer for ABC's hit show
Wife Swap. I am seeking families who are Filkers for our third season.
On many occasions, we feature families with unique and interesting
passions, hobbies or lifestyles. Would you be interested in applying
or spreading the word?

If you're unfamiliar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is to
take two different families and have the mom's switch place to
experience how another family lives for one week. Half of the week,
mom lives the life of the family she is staying with. The other half,
she introduces a "rule change" where she implements rules and
activities that her family has. It's a positive experience for people
to not only learn, but teach other ways of life.

Families on the show receive $20,000 and anyone that refers a family
that is selected to be on our show is paid $1,000 per referral. Each
family must consist of two parents, at least one child between the
ages of 6-17, and reside in the U.S.

A local family I know was either in that or "Trading Spouses", and while the two families involved enjoyed meeting each other and so on, when the episode actually came out they were horrified to see how it had been edited to make everyone look like idiots. Susie Bright talked about this (including the same local family) in her journal a while back after receiving one of those letters herself.

Yet another reality show which is.. less than real... realy.
Someone I know was offered a run on the show, but decided against it. My friends' life and family life is in such a constant state of crazyness, not to mention the household situation being so strange, that they knew it would be a far from happy ending.

Poly is strange enough for the participants, let alone someone from outside to deal with.
