Took a field trip at lunchtime to see if I could get the zipper on my leather jacket replaced. Metal zipper with several broken teeth. I bought the jacket for too much money in Cozumel in 1995, and had always looked at it as my best jacket. The nice lady pointed out that it would cost about $60 to fix the zipper, and the jacket also needed cleaning and restoration - in other words, I may as well just buy another jacket.
