No More Starbucks till next year

Once again the serial marketing greedmongers at everyone's favorite huge chain coffee shop have put up their Christmas decorations and switched to Christmas designs on their paper cups two weeks before Thanksgiving. And they are playing Jesus music. So, I won't be patronizing them till they recover from this dread disease.

Don't get me started. Christmas started sometime directly after BayCon at the local Longs. It will probably end about Easter.

Yet if you put on a costume on November 1, people will invariably tell you, "It's too LATE for Halloween! OMGZ!"

It makes me a sad Wonka that Halloween doesn't linger the way Christmas does. It is the superior holiday.
