No More Starbucks till next year

Once again the serial marketing greedmongers at everyone's favorite huge chain coffee shop have put up their Christmas decorations and switched to Christmas designs on their paper cups two weeks before Thanksgiving. And they are playing Jesus music. So, I won't be patronizing them till they recover from this dread disease.

I take it that you're also skipping Macy's, the mall, and most grocery stores?

(at least, around here in Contra Costa, they ALL put up their decorations between Nov 1 and 5th. I hate it too, but I kinda need things like butter and breakfast cereal...)

As a matter of fact, yes. As soon as I hear Jesus music in a store, I stop going to that store. Safeway delivers, and there's a pair muzak-free 7-11 stores nearby. I do most of my other shopping online anyway.

Down here only Starbucks has actual Xmas decorations up. Everyone else is still working on Turkey Day.
