No More Starbucks till next year

Once again the serial marketing greedmongers at everyone's favorite huge chain coffee shop have put up their Christmas decorations and switched to Christmas designs on their paper cups two weeks before Thanksgiving. And they are playing Jesus music. So, I won't be patronizing them till they recover from this dread disease.

I agree it is disturbing. I have not heard the ‘jesus’ music yet… We still play jazz, etc. at my store. I have to wear a red shirt on Saturdays. I’m not religious…
I think of it this way: what do reindeer, penguins, and trees have to do with birth of Jesus? I honestly find the pagan symbolism and capitalism of “Christian” amusing…
I also like not Jesu-fied Christmas songs. Frosty the Snowman! Jingle Bells!
