I'm reading Robert Asprin's Myth-Ion Impossible. It's dragging a bit, but one thing he has done which make me LOL is at the start of each chapter he takes cliches, lines from popular songs, etc., and attributes them to popular (sometimes fictional) figures. For example:
"There's no such thing as a free ride" -MTA
"Alone again, naturally" - R. Crusoe
"Don't Pick up hitchhikers!" -D. Adams

I like the song lines idea, so here are some, feel free to add your own in comments:

"Friday, I'm in love." - R. Crusoe

"The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind" - M. Lewinsky

"Stand by your man" - T. Wynette

"Only the good die young" - J. Kevorkian

"Why don't we get drunk and screw?" - G.H.W. Bush and B. Bush

"Two out of three ain't bad" - Rose Kennedy

"There's a fine, fine line" - J. DeLorean

"Sometimes love just ain't enough" - P. Hilton

"Take good care of my baby" - B. Spears
