Well, there *might* be 8 games, should they, um, tie, and stuff. It's happened, I think. Er...anyway, you can always just sing it loudly in the street and see what happens.
There's never an 8th game, there are no ties in major league baseball, if it's tied at the end of the 9th inning, they just play till someone wins -- if the home team is ahead after the first half of the inning, or the visiting team is ahead at the end of the inning.
I think current rules say an inning cannot start after 1 am, so if the score is still tied they come back later that day, or the next day, to finish.
A World Series game has never gone more than 14 innings, and that's only happened twice (game 3 last year and game 2 in 1916 (Babe Ruth was the winning pitcher - yeah he was a pitcher before he was a home run hero).
