For those of you who think it is dangerous here because we get a lot of earthquakes, the fact is we have not had a major quake in the SF Bay Area since October 1989. I don't think I've even felt more than a half dozen since then. LA has had more, but nothing big since 1994. OTOH, snowstorms and hurricanes happen several times a year in those places which get them - I don't think I want to trade you. kbyethx

Seriously, I felt it too. Most of the guys at work thought it was someone jumping around on the roof.
