Coming Up Short(s)

My weight continues to hover at -55 lbs, my waistline is shrinking only slightly (quads and calves are getting huge) and I only have 2 pairs of cutoffs which fit at my "new" size. Went to Walmart ISO another couple of pairs, and they don't have any!. Ditto Sears. WTF? I know it's back-to-school-sale time, but this is Cali-fucking-fornia, for crying out loud. We have two more months of shorts weather ahead of us.

So I bought four pairs of el cheapo jeans for $10 each, and a pair of heavy duty scissors, a couple of rolls of iron-on hem ribbon, and will make my own.

That is frustrating, but I betcha the plateau of the waistline will break at some point here and you'll have a long period of feeling immensely smug. :)
