Almost. Planned on getting to Vasona Park to listen to the South Bay Folks musical picnic by noon-thirty, late start and trusting my memory to find the place made me an hour+ late. Nice park, not as nice as Shoreline, and the $6 entry fee is way steep. Found the group, but it was all couples and single gentlemen Of A Certain Age and I really am not looking for another group like that. Listened to a couple of numbers, there were lots of instruments, many of them actually being played. After 5 minutes of nobody coming over to say hi, I shuffled off down the trail. Had a nice scenic walk, drove home with a short stop for a snack and to get bananas at a Nob Hill.
Met a friend for coffee at the Shoreline Starbucks, then drove up to the College of San Mateo and joined a small group of photographers hoping for good Harvest Moon shots. The weather did not cooperate, by the time the clouds cleared the moon was just a bright full moon. I got some interesting shots, and learned a bit about exposure times and ISO ratings for night shots. Here's one of my faves:

Plans for tomorrow:
Take a pile of stuff to Goodwill
Do laundry
Maybe go back to San Mateo for another try at the moon if the weather clears up.
