The last show I performed in with TheatreWorks was Peter Pan, way back in the mid-80's. A teenager from Palo Alto named Amy Stewart played Wendy. Tonight Amy was a guest star on the Halloween edition of NBC's Trauma, playing the mother of a boy who ends up in the hospital, with a woman doctor dressed in a Tinkerbell costume reading her son the last page of the book Peter Pan. The part where he comes back to fetch Wendy, but she's a mom with a child of her own now.

Nah, stuff like this happens a lot in theater, though it's not usually that poignant.
