Felt Like Sunday

howeirdSlept in way late because both cats were snuggling, which is rare. Played online till noon, lunch was baked bao and lasagna.
Watched some of the Olympics coverage and was disgusted with how badly NBC's feed was out of sync, and how far off their local ad insertion was. Mouths moving 3 seconds before the sound came out, slipping further out of sync over time. Local ads slicing into the feed 5 seconds early, clobbering the national program. There's no excuse for that.
Got Joni's present ready, then went to her birthday party. Had a great time, excellent food and company. On the way home stopped to get some Imodium, but the two value-sized packages they had on the shelf looked like they had been tampered with and clumsily re-sealed, so I bought the generic and took the tampered ones up to the checkout to be given to a manager.
