Calling on the great hive mind to suggest a simple, affordable photo viewer program which meets ALL the following requirements:

1. Runs under Windows 7 64-bit
2. Can start up in a view which shows thumbnails of photos in the selected folder
3. Has a simple way to switch from thumbnail mode to full screen mode
4. Has shortcut keys to copy and move a photo to another folder
5. Hitting the delete key deletes the selected photos(s) or folder(s)

Extra points for:
Remembering the last folder selected, and returning there on the next launch
Being able to show thumbnails of photos inside zip files
Slideshow mode

Simple is better. I had been using ACDSee until it deleted some pictures during a not-quite-Windows7-compatible moment. Adobe products cost way too much for what I need. Most of the ones I've seen lack #4, which I need a lot.

Hi,

I am in a similar boat. I have had great luck with ACDSee (version 4.0 actually), till vista and win 7 decided to hate it.

I have dabbled in XNview a little bit. I am not sure it is 100% compliant with your request, but I think it is more compliant than not, and free.

Have you been there, done that, or is this perhaps an actually new application to you?

Cheers,
Joel
