You're right, Kucinich should have been on that list, but the question in BIG LETTERS was about the DEMOCRATIC primary, which, last time we held it, did not have Republicans on the ballot. Not even Ron Paul.
Except for Aretha's hat, everyone on the list was at one time during the primaries mentioned seriously as a candidate for the nomination.
I personally would much rather have seen Mrs. Obama as a candidate, she has far more administrative experience than her husband, is IMHO a better pubic speaker, wasn't a juvenile delinquent.
Hilary, Chris and that Edwards guy were all on the ballot. Gore received a significant number of write-in votes. Woody is a serious environmental activist when he's not looking stupid on the screen. Howard Dean also got some write-in votes, and was chairman of the DNC at the time.
