So at the "what makes a geek sexy?" panel at Baycon someone mentioned she had to email her guy to stop grabbing her ass in public.

I'd have dumped her right then and there. What's the use of having an SO if you can't grab her ass in public?

Sometimes it's just embarrassing, however.

Subtle goose or something, that's one thing. Overt groping where people might look at ya funny is a dfferent story.

Knowing how and when to grab is sort of what separates those with class and those without ;)

Um, some people don't like it. Some people are tops, some are bottoms, some are exhbitionists and some are deeply private. There is more gray area than a rest home parking lot.

Likewise, it's perfectly valid to be a polyamorous, or monogamous, but you probably shouldn't pair a poly and a monogamous person together in a relationship.

If howeird likes grabbing his SO's ass in public, then he probably shouldn't be in a relationship with somebody who doesn't like having their ass grabbed in public. :-)

Somehow I have never had a problem with public ass grabbing. Public leg-humping is a different story...

I can understand the privacy issue, though more from the viewpoint of the person who has to see the ass grab than the couple who are engaging in it. I'm mostly a top, and have never had a problem with being the grabber or the grabee. Being the grabber fits the role, being the grabee makes the grabber subject to repercussions. ;-)
